AARP Universal Design Home

This is a video of a Universal Design home provided by AARP and NAHB. It shows first-hand the value of a home when it is thoughtfully designed from the ground up implementing UD features such as wider door openings, first floor master bedroom, first floor accessible bathroom and microwave drawers. You'll see the space from the viewpoint of a wheelchair occupant, a young couple starting their lives with a growing family and an older adult looking to remain in his home for as long as possible.
